HomeValixBot identifies itself transparently in every HTTP request using the User-Agent header: HomeValixBot/1.0 (+https://homevalix.com/bot). Webmasters can verify the crawler through this identifier.
2. Crawling behaviour
HomeValixBot only accesses public web pages. The crawler never attempts user login, never bypasses CAPTCHAs, and never circumvents target site anti-bot protections.
3. Compliance with robots.txt
HomeValixBot strictly respects the Robots Exclusion Protocol (robots.txt) of target websites. If robots.txt disallows access to a path or domain, the bot refrains from crawling immediately.
4. Rate limits and crawl windows
The crawler operates with bounded request rates and adheres to scheduled crawl windows to prevent putting undue load on source servers.
